The total thickness of the protective layer is about 1.8-3.7mm. In the three-layer structure, the main function of fused epoxy powder coating is: to form a continuous coating film, directly bonded to the surface of the steel pipe, has good chemical corrosion resistance and cathodic stripping resistance. And the active group of the intermediate layer adhesive reaction form chemical bond, to ensure that the overall anticorrosive layer has good cohesiveness at high temperature.
The intermediate layer is usually a copolymer binder, the main component of which is polyolefin. Currently, vinyl copolymer adhesives are widely used.
